"My paintings? Sometimes it's a beautiful scream."Anna Čejková — Sanquis magazine

Anna Škopková Čejková (born 20 September 1975, Prague) is a Czech academic painter. She works primarily in expressive painting — most often landscapes and the motif of trees, which she builds on large-format canvases from vivid complementary colours.

She studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the studio of Jiří Sopko. She completed life-drawing courses at VŠUP Prague under Boris Jirků and drawing courses under Jitka Svobodová. Study residencies took her to Italy — to the Accademia Pietro Vannucci in Perugia and to the academy in Florence.

Her "Trees" are created in complementary contrasts, often in autumn light or the glow of the setting sun. Alongside colour intensity, the motif of silence and inner experience is an essential source of inspiration for her.
